By downloading, installing, or using Pausely ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.
Pausely is intended for users aged 16 and over, and you confirm your age when you create an account. If we discover a user under 16, we will terminate their account and delete their data.
Pausely is a subscription management application that helps you track, monitor, and manage your recurring subscriptions. It provides reminders, cost analytics, cancellation guidance, and insights. Pausely does not provide financial, legal, or investment advice.
Free Tier: Track up to 5 subscriptions with renewal reminders, Renewal Verdicts, cancellation help and your Savings Receipt.
Pro Tier (optional, billed monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial):
The current price of each plan, in your local currency, is shown in the app and on the App Store before you subscribe. Prices may change; where Apple requires your consent to a price increase, Apple will ask you before it takes effect.
All purchases are made through the Apple App Store and processed by Apple Inc.
Important — Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current price at renewal.
To cancel auto-renewal: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Pausely → Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
For App Store purchases, billing and cancellation are governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Because every purchase is made through the App Store, refunds are decided and paid by Apple under its Media Services Terms. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong with Pausely, email pausely@proton.me and we will help you with the request.
If you live in the EU or the UK, you keep your legal 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases, which you exercise through Apple.
Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.

We offer a 7-day free trial for Pro. After the trial, your chosen plan will automatically begin at the current price. Cancel any time during the trial in your App Store subscription settings to avoid charges.
The App and all its content are owned by Pausely and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of data you input into the App.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for decisions made based on information in the App, errors in third-party pricing data, or service interruptions.
Pausely provides subscription tracking tools only — not financial, tax, or legal advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pausely's total liability to you shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. We encourage you to contact us first at pausely@proton.me to resolve disputes informally.
Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve any disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions or representative proceedings.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Claims must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and Pausely, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Apple is not responsible for the App's content. You must comply with App Store Terms of Service.
